10 Months!

Sophie is already 10 months old!  She is a happy baby and already likes to tease.  She crawls all over the place and pulls herself up to everything.  She has 2 teeth that were really hard to get for both her and us, but we are glad they have broken through.  Now we will just wait until the next ones decide to come.   She is starting to mimic some of the things we say or do and it is really cute.  Just recently I have started showing her lip gloss and putting some on her lips.  In the top right picture she is trying to put it on herself.  We love her so much and love how happy she makes us.

Easter Weekend!

Easter Dress!  So Pretty!
She was thrilled to get a book, pajamas, and candy she can't eat from the Easter Bunny.
She went to her very 1st Easter Egg Hunt put on by the Woodward's Country Store.
For staying in one place she still made out with 2 rubber ducks and and egg filled with candy and  an ice cream coupon.
She had a great 1st Easter and even got to see all of her cousins.  This is her and Ruby.

Queen of Coldstone!!!

We took a trip to Coldstone and Sophie really liked the icecream!  So much in fact that she threw a tantrum whenever we took her spoon away.  It was cute the 1st time but she had to have a spoon with ice cream (yes she could tell if there wasn't any on her spoon) the entire time.  She is a very spoiled baby but we were in public we couldn't just let her scream.  We do think this video is really funny though.

9 months and growing up fast!

We had a big week this past week.  Sophie not only turned 9 months old but also got her first tooth and started crawling.  Two big things in the same week.  She has been trying to crawl for a few weeks now but would always plop to her belly and start rolling.  She can pull herself up to anything now which is scary because not everything is sturdy.  She loves to stand and walk with us, she just needs to get better balance before she will walk on her own.  We love her so much and are grateful to have her in our family everyday.

8 months

Sophie is 8 months old tomorrow.  Time is flying so fast.  She has such a cute personality and is a great baby. She rolls all over the place and wants to eat anything you are eating.  If she hears you open a wrapper or package she stares you down until you give her a taste.  Still doesn't crawl or have any teeth but will stand up to things and can hold herself up pretty good.  She now says the word "huh" and if you reply with "huh" she thinks its a fun game and says it over and over.  We love our little Soph and can't believe how big she is getting.  Also notice how much she looks like her daddy.  He sure does make a cute girl!

Ponytails and Pigtails

I have had fun experimenting with Sophie's hair.  She has one section of hair right on the crown of her head that is pretty long and sticks straight up.  I have been curling it with a curler but it is getting a little long for that so I have tried pigtails, a ponytail, and then just kind a scrunching it.  Isn't she pretty?

Oh the Weather Outside is Frighful!

It is hard to keep a baby warm in negative degree weather but lucky for us Sophie has quite a few really cute warm accessories.  This is what we have come up with so far . . .

She is really great to Humor us and let me play dress up!!!

We love Aunt Aubrie!!!

Sad for us but fortunate for the Canada Toronto mission, Aubrie left for the MTC the day after  the New Year.  We know she will be a great missionary and we already miss her!  The hardest part for me was realizing how big Sophie will be when she gets home.  She will be 2.  I am so glad Sophie has such a great Aunt and example to look up to.  We Love Aubrie!!!

Christmas!

We started out the Christmas Holiday with a Woodward Celebration a few days before Christmas.  Everyone was spoiled and the grandkids got lots of new princess dresses, hats, puzzles, etc to play with at grandmas house.   The coon skin was Sophie's pick and she pulled off the look pretty well!
We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas at the Waldron household.  This snake quilt was made by Sophie's great Grandma Julie.  Isn't it cute?
Trying on mom's scarf
And here she is with all her treasures!  She did really well opening presents.  Once we would start ripping them she would finish.  She had a lot of presents to open and was pretty worn out for the last few but somehow managed to get them opened.
So as you can see the only Christmas pictures we got were of Sophie.  Colton and I had a great Christmas too.  It is so great to get to be with family, eat good food, and just relax and enjoy the break.  We love our families so much!

Sophie has met some famous people!

First she got to meet Santa at our Ward Party.   (She really liked his beard)
And then she was lucky enough to get a picture with  Big Blue.  By the smile on her face I think  she liked him!

We are very excited for Christmas at our house and hope you all have a wonderful Holiday Season.

Thanksgiving!

Our Thanksgiving was spend in Idaho this year with my family.  We had a wonderful time, ate way too much, and stayed up way too late playing games every night.
This was taken the Sunday before Thanksgiving just relaxing after church.  Do they look alike? . . . Most definitely!  I love these two so much!
Here are 3 of the little babies.  (Just missing Mckay)
We tried to get a belly pose picture.  As you can see it worked really well. :)
Here is our family Thanksgiving morning.

 And the Beautiful table
 Cute little Soph
Does it look like we had enough pies?  (Never enough)
My contribution was the Oreo pie
That evening my brother Nate wrote a little play for the kids about the Pilgrims and Indians.  The kids loved dressing up and acting out their parts and dancing the music.  Sophie thought sleep was more important than being in the play but she did make a cute Indian.
Here are the cute little Indians
And the cute little Pilgrims.
We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and now we get to look forward to Christmas!!!

Sleepy Sleepy Sleepy

It is hard to wake up when it is dark outside.
We had to wake her up because it was getting late and we wanted her to sleep through the night but as you can see she did not want to wake up.  She was happy just super sleepy.

Almost 5 months old!!!

Sophie is quite the little lady.  She is growing up so fast and  amazes us everyday with everything she can do.  She has such a cute personality.  Lately she has enjoyed eating dinner on our laps because she doesn't want to miss out on anything.  Her new favorite thing is to drink out of a cup and thinks every cup she sees is hers.
I had her playing with toys on a blanket while I was getting ready and I looked over and realized she was asleep.  It was so cute.  She is such a perfect baby!
She can sit up by herself in the boppy now and I think she likes looking at things from this angle.  (Something other than her back)
Stork Landing had a diaper decorating contest for Halloween  so we dressed her up  as a little lamby.
There were six different categories you could win and she won the "Cutest" award.   I must say she did make a stinkin cute little lamb.
We finally got around to carving pumpkins the night before Halloween and  Colton  insisted that we do a plain jane jack'o'lantern.
It turned out pretty cute though!
And here is our cute little Strawberry on Halloween!
Isn't she cute?
