Ponytails and Pigtails

I have had fun experimenting with Sophie's hair.  She has one section of hair right on the crown of her head that is pretty long and sticks straight up.  I have been curling it with a curler but it is getting a little long for that so I have tried pigtails, a ponytail, and then just kind a scrunching it.  Isn't she pretty?

Oh the Weather Outside is Frighful!

It is hard to keep a baby warm in negative degree weather but lucky for us Sophie has quite a few really cute warm accessories.  This is what we have come up with so far . . .

She is really great to Humor us and let me play dress up!!!

We love Aunt Aubrie!!!

Sad for us but fortunate for the Canada Toronto mission, Aubrie left for the MTC the day after  the New Year.  We know she will be a great missionary and we already miss her!  The hardest part for me was realizing how big Sophie will be when she gets home.  She will be 2.  I am so glad Sophie has such a great Aunt and example to look up to.  We Love Aubrie!!!

Christmas!

We started out the Christmas Holiday with a Woodward Celebration a few days before Christmas.  Everyone was spoiled and the grandkids got lots of new princess dresses, hats, puzzles, etc to play with at grandmas house.   The coon skin was Sophie's pick and she pulled off the look pretty well!
We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas at the Waldron household.  This snake quilt was made by Sophie's great Grandma Julie.  Isn't it cute?
Trying on mom's scarf
And here she is with all her treasures!  She did really well opening presents.  Once we would start ripping them she would finish.  She had a lot of presents to open and was pretty worn out for the last few but somehow managed to get them opened.
So as you can see the only Christmas pictures we got were of Sophie.  Colton and I had a great Christmas too.  It is so great to get to be with family, eat good food, and just relax and enjoy the break.  We love our families so much!
